Consilium Staffing continued its on-going support of Children's Medical Center Dallas with an internal fundraiser during the month of April. Consilium team members donated $25 to wear jeans in the office all month long. The funds were delivered to Children's in the first week of May. "We ran a similar donation program in December and we were thrilled with the level of participation we had from our team," said Matt Baade, Executive Vice President at Consilium. "Our people loved the program the first time and asked that we do it again. With our recent growth we had more people to participate and we increased the level of the individual donations. The end result was more than 75% of our team participating and a much larger contribution to Children's Medical Center."

Consilium first partnered with Children's in 2012 with a series of events including a fundraiser, participation in the Red Balloon Run and Ride, and by creating "Godly Play Folders" for patients. The company followed that with the jeans/donation program in December as well by sending a group to volunteer on-site at the hospital for the annual Children's Holiday party for patients.

"The partnership with Children's Medical Center has been extremely rewarding for me personally, and for our team as a whole," said Sheri Ossorio, a director at Consilium. "Personally, I do this because I just love kids. Helping them in any way we can, along with their families, warms my heart."

Consilium plans to continue to grow the Consilium Cares program with the on-going support of Children's, and by reaching out to other groups in the community. "As a faith-based organization we exist not only to serve our clients, but to serve our community," said Baade.

"Locum tenens" is a Latin phrase meaning "to hold the place of." Consilium Staffing partners with hospitals, primary care offices, urgent care centers, correctional institutions and other healthcare facilities that may be understaffed or underserved by sourcing physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who are able to provide coverage on a temporary contract basis.
