TCA Health faced years of compounding staffing gaps. Over the past five years, Consilium has placed seven locum providers with TCA Health, including pediatricians and psychiatrists — two of the most difficult specialties to place consistently in community health settings.
Some locum providers worked standard 3-month contracts for continuity of care. Others stayed for more than 12 months, providing extended coverage for TCA Health to rebuild stability.
With reliable coverage in place, TCA Health was able to see more patients, reduce the burden on existing staff, and keep their locations open and operational.
