On a summer night in August, 11 teams of Consilium employees took to the lanes! Consilium Cares hosted its 3rd Annual Bowling for Books fundraiser benefiting the Family Resource Center at Scottish Rite for Children in Dallas.
Teams competed for trophies, medals, and a pizza party. The night resulted in helping children access the books that inspire, comfort, and connect them during challenging times.
From the best score to the most enthusiastic team, Consilium bowlers brought big hearts, questionable aim, and unstoppable generosity to the lanes. Scottish Rite even treated participants to their iconic popcorn! They also shared sample books from their library, letting participants see the difference their efforts make.
One standout team, “The Rite Stuff”—a mix of Consilium and Scottish Rite staff—improved their game from last year. They proved that while bowling skills may fluctuate, the impact of giving never does.
Scottish Rite for Children: Family Resource Center
Scottish Rite for Children is ranked No.1 in Pediatric Orthopedic Care in the United States. This Dallas-based superhero headquarters serves kids with orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, and more.
Funds raised went to the Christi Carter Urschel Family Resource Center. The Family Resource Center serves families from all over the United States who seek guidance, hope, and support. By combining the expertise of librarians and social workers, the center offers answers for families navigating their child’s complex medical and social challenges.
