Consilium Cares: 6th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

Share:

Thanksgiving is a season centered on gathering and shared meals, yet many families across the Dallas area face food insecurity year-round. Rising costs and limited access to nutritious food make the holiday especially challenging for households already stretched thin.

Consilium Cares supports long-term community needs, not one-time moments. With our sixth annual food drive for Metrocrest Thanksgiving Food Program, Consilium continues to invest in helping families access essential resources and build stability this holiday season.

How the Food Drive Came Together

The Consilium Cares 6th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive ran from November 3–19, 2025, benefiting Metrocrest Services and its Thanksgiving Food Program.

Throughout the month, Consilium’s break room became the center of the campaign. Tables were dressed with fall tablecloths, paper turkey centerpieces, and printed testimonials from families Metrocrest has served. These reminders reinforced the purpose behind every donation.

Boxes of cornbread mix, canned vegetables, stuffing, and other Thanksgiving staples steadily filled the tables. Employees participated in multiple ways—donating funds, purchasing food items, and helping pack and load donations for delivery.

By the end of the campaign, teamwork across departments turned individual contributions into a collective effort with meaningful impact.

Working Together to Serve Others

Small, everyday donations added up to something much larger for local families. Each item donated helped ensure families had access to holiday meals and essential nutrition during a critical time of year.
